Luster lamp, England, c.1875.

Originally, this candlestick luster was one of a pair, the glass prisms meant to reflect more candlelight into the room. The scene in the cast brass is a young girl feeding a doe, with her puppy begging for a treat. Now made into a petite table or desk lamp with a handsome piece of burgundy and green marble as the base, and a new silk shade.

23” overall height.
